Welcome to my website!

I am a 44-year-old lawyer and a member of Helsinki City Council.
I have thirteen years of work experience as lawyer in Finnish trade unions and confederations , as well as six years as a legal advisor in the Social Democratic parliamentary group. I have been a member of the committee on city planning from the beginning of 2009. I have three children, so issues as schools, daycare, health care, and affordable housing are important to me.

In addition to that I concentrate on employment and labour market questions, human rights, and social responsibility. In the labour market there is lots of work to be done to prohibit discrimination of immigrants. It is important to offer enough training in the Finnish language and to improve the employment rates of immigrants. We can afford to take care of good public services, which provide security and flexibility in every-day-life to everyone, also to the elderly.
